Magyar Marketing’s TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY
Below you will find our cancellation policy. Our tour groups are smaller sized and our prices are based on a certain minimum number of participants. It is important for us to be able to provide the tour in the event there are several cancellations.
Cancellation in writing must be received by Magyar Marketing 91 days prior to departure for a full refund of payment made minus service fee.
The following cancellation charges will be assessed for all written cancellations received prior to departure up to the scheduled time of departure. Upon receiving cancellation notice, the following charges will apply: (Broken out by days before departure)
- 91+ days prior to departure: $100 Per Person Service Fee
- 61-90 days prior to departure: Deposit Amount
- 46-60 days prior to departure: 50% of tour cost
- 45 days or less prior to departure: 100% of tour cost
Air penalties are not part of the percentages listed and vary based on the airline policy at the time of ticket issue.
No refunds will be given within 45 business days before tour departure; please plan accordingly.
We strongly recommend travel insurance. We have used Allianz. See their website allianztravelinsurance.com or give them a call at 1-866-672-9580.

Responsibility and Liability Clause
Our goal is to have a safe and fun experience while exploring Hungary and her bordering countries and make new relationships along the way. We reserve the right to make adjustments to the schedule as deemed necessary or desirable, always with the intention of providing at least an equal if not greater value. We look forward to an enjoyable experience for everyone and expect each participant to be reasonably polite with one another as well as with those we encounter in each of the places we visit. We reserve the right to refuse to accept or retain, as a member of the party, any person at any time for reasons including but not limited to illicit drug use, sexual harassment, illegal behavior, behavior that puts the rest of the participants at risk, or any behavior unbecoming of a guest. Be nice. Have fun. Represent humanity well.
We assume you will be participating in all events as listed in the itinerary; however, you reserve the right to not participate for any reason. Please notify us 24 hours in advance if you are opting out, if possible. There are no refunds on the portions of the program you chose to not participate in.
By participating on our tours, you assume all risks involved in such travel, whether foreseen or unforeseen. We strongly advise you to consider and obtain appropriate insurance coverage to the extent available with respect to risks associated with travel, and, particularly, if you have any medical conditions.
Magyar Ventures, et al. and/or its representatives act only as an agent for the various independent suppliers that provide hotel accommodations, transportation, sightseeing, activities, or other services connected with this tour. Such services are subject to the terms and conditions of those suppliers.
Magyar Ventures, et al. and their respective employees, agents, representatives, and assigns accept no liability whatsoever for any injury, death, property damage, loss, accident, delay, or any other incident which may be caused by the negligence, defect, default of any company or person in performing these services. Responsibility is not accepted for losses, injury, damages or expenses of any kind due to sickness, weather, strikes, hostilities, wars, terrorist acts, acts of nature, local laws or other such causes.
All services and accommodations are subject to the laws and regulations of the country in which they are provided. Magyar Ventures, et al. is not responsible for any baggage or personal effects of any individual participating in the tours / trips.
Individual travellers are responsible for purchasing a travel insurance policy, if desired, that may cover some of the expenses associated with any injury, damage, loss, accident, travel delay, and/or with the loss of luggage or personal effects.
