We will visit historical sights (palaces, medieval castles, churches) and learn about the history of various time periods of Hungary. We’ll have a close look at several important folk traditions and participate in a cooking workshop. We’ll experience the spa culture, and we’ll taste special foods, wines, and traditional spirits.
Our tours typically require moderate physical effort and a bit of independence as well as a sense of adventure. If you have special considerations, please indicate them on your registration form. Knowledge of the Hungarian language is useful but not required. A more complete day-to-day itinerary will be released 60 days prior to departure.
Typical tour size: 12-15 participants
$5300 per person, double occupancy. Single supplement $850.
$2000 deposit required.
